Anyone who has tried to find employment recently knows that good jobs are very hard to find. Not only are employers not hiring, many are actually letting people go! Becoming a nurse might not be as difficult as some people might think. And how rewarding would it to be a nurse? Not only would you make great money, but you get to feel good about what you are doing because you are helping people. Traditionally this meant actually living close enough to a college that had a nursing program so you could attend classes. Of course upon graduation you would still have to pass any applicable exams like the required national one to obtain your RN or LPN certification.

Medical billing is another field that has seen extreme growth and therefore needs qualified applicants. As a medical billing specialist you could either work in a hospital, a clinic, an office setting or even for a medical insurance company. And while a specific degree is not legally required to fill one of these positions, employers typically those who have obtained a degree. If you already have the degree, you don't need to be trained on the various aspects of this career which include using special software, coding, and processing insurance forms. Just like with becoming a nurse, one of these degrees can be obtained online, so there is no need to schedule your life around a set class schedule.

So it might not be as complicated as people might think to get a good job in the health care field. With the proper education, it is easy to get you foot through the door. And with the popularity of the online education trend, that education is easier to get than ever before.
